Transformational Adventures
For Youth
Nature‑based adventures and youth mentorship that support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing
while helping your child build confidence, self-awareness, inner strength, and belonging in a modern world.
Why We Exist
To create transformative experiences that help young people grow into self-trust, confidence, connection, and purpose — laying the foundation for a healthy, meaningful life.
What We Do
Weekly nature‑based adventures designed to help kids unplug, move their bodies, build real skills, and experience authentic belonging.
Why It Matters
Reimagining adolescence as a
time of exploration,
discovery, challenge, and becoming —
in a world often shaped by pressure, isolation, and confusion.
If you’re worried about screens, anxiety, motivation, social connection, confidence, or the impact of
modern culture on your child, this is a grounded & supportive place to start.
What Makes I AM Adventures Different?
Where Growth Becomes Embodied
I AM Adventures blends adventure, mentorship, and nature connection into experiences that
support your child as a whole human. This is growth that’s embodied and remembered.
Teens hike, explore, move, and face healthy challenges together in the outdoors.
Physical challenge builds confidence, resilience, and nervous-system regulation in ways screens never can.

Through guided conversations, and council-style sharing, kids & teens learn to understand emotions, communicate honestly, and navigate relationships with maturity, authenticity, and respect.

Teens experience being part of a community built on respect, inclusion, and shared experience—without pressure to perform or fit a mold.
"Children don’t need more pressure or fixing — they need to feel
safe enough to be who they already are."

Who I AM Adventures Is For
There is no “right kind” of kid for I AM Adventures — only young people who would benefit from guidance, connection, time outside, and a safe space to be fully themselves.
I AM Adventures is for:
Children and teens who love being outdoors — as well as those who are just beginning to feel comfortable outside
Young people seeking confidence, belonging, and real-world skills
Kids who spend a lot of time indoors or on screens and would benefit from more time moving, exploring, and connecting with the natural world
Youth who don’t always fit neatly into conventional systems (public school, team sports, traditional extra-curriculars, etc.)
Families who value mentorship, emotional growth, and meaningful connection
All children and teens, regardless of background, identity, beliefs, or life experience
Testimonials

Chris has taught my four children in various capacities for a decade. He is the most inspiring, athletic, and caring mentor/teacher I have ever met. His love for helping children & teens develop into the best versions of themselves is evidenced in the smiles, laughter, and stories my children bring home after spending time with him.
Megan Cox
Homeschool Mom & Teacher

Chris's natural ability to really see children and meet them where they are is truly a gift. His mentorship and leadership to steward the children in a good way is of huge value and is vitally life-giving. His offering of blending hiking and being in the natural world while attuning to and guiding kids is such an amazing and undervalued resource. Our son has always been very selective of who he wants to be around, and Chris is at the top of his list! We are so grateful for Chris in our lives and feel he is a huge asset to families and especially our youth during these times!!

If you are looking for an exceptional role model for your teens, look no further than Chris at I AM Adventures. He has a unique gift for connecting with teens and tweens, and providing a safe environment that balances fun with meaningful challenges. He fills a vital gap for our family, acting as a mentor and older brother figure that my kids look up to. I cannot recommend his programs enough -he is truly one of a kind.
